Hi everyone. I am looking to find out about any christian novels/authors. I know about the left behind series, and also of an author by the name of robin jones gunn...her books are excelent in my opinion!!! However, I am wondering if anyone knows of more authors/novels out there. I would prefer fiction, however, if you have any nonfiction suggestions, aside from the obvious Bible, feel free to pass them along as well. Thanks a lot!!!

Personally, I like Lurlene McDaniel, who I may have told you about. There are 5 web braille books by her.
I like The Bronze Bow, too.
For non-fiction, I highly recommend anything by Max Lucado. If I think of any more, I'll let you know.

Hi all,
Good authors have been given already. I like them all. My suggestions are the books by Steven Bly, some are Christian westerns, some not. Also, any books by Gilbert Morris, especially if you like history! He'll keep you in something to read for a long long time. Then, B.J. Hoff. Her books are called the Daybreak Mysteries. They're great, all of the ones I've listed I really enjoyed the books I read and the authors. And Robin Jones Gunn is just great, but yall already mentioned her.
In Him,
Dixie

Hi: For fiction, you might try reading Eugenia Price. Also, Jeanette Oke. Off the top, can't remember the spelling of her name, but I've read some of her books and they're quite good.

I just rediscovered Joan Bauer's books. They have some great christian themes.

Hi okay. Christian fiction authors.
First Gilbert Morris as someone has already said.
Dee Henderson if you like suspense/mystery I just discovered her.
Brock and Bodie Theone all books by them are good. If you like historic fiction. They cover in the Zion Legacy Chroncile and Covenant seeries a lot about Israel and world war II. Very good reads.
If I remember correctly there are like 6 books in each of those series.
Very long reads too.
Hmmm, I am trying to think of others that would be good.
I cannot think of any right now. But I will share more if I remember more.
Christian authors are out there. Usually they show up just by you picking up a book and saying hmm let me see what this book is about.
Anyway, hope this helps.

Francine Rivers has a trilogy of historical fiction. got it from nls. takes place around the time of the romans, a couple of decades after the death of christ. something about a barbarian being captured and made to fight in the what you ma call it's against other fighters as well as lions I think. it's sort of like gladiator.

Hi Katie,
I would also recommend Grace livingston hill. Her books are Christian based. They are very adventurous in my opinion, and I even read one that I would term as being gothic like. Christian gothics is something you don't run across often.

this topic is reeeeeeeally old! LOL
I just discovered a new Christian suspense author. Her na,e'sBrandilyn Collins. SHe has a couple books about a woman who sees visions, and then another few about an artist who draws faces of people. She's got a trilogy of books that take place in the late sixties, I think... in the small town of Bradleyville.. does this help?
